OAC Public Lecture to Focus on Native Plants

The Winter 2008 session of OAC's public lecture series kicks off on Wednesday, January 9 with this year’s Jack & Gerry Vandergrift lecture.
This year's lecture will feature Lorraine Johnson, lecturer on native plant ecosystems at York University and author of a number of books on gardening and environmental issues, including Tending the Earth, 100 Easy-to-Grow Native Plants, and The New Ontario Naturalized Garden. In this lecture, Johnson will focus on the topic of native plants.

This event is open to the public: there is no charge for admission. OVC Lifetime Learning Centre is located just off Gordon Street between College Avenue and Stone Road: access via McGilvary Road. Parking is available directly adjacent to the building; there is no charge for parking after 5:00 p.m.
