OAC Photo Contest Winners Announced

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first OAC Photo Contest which ran until the end of October.  More than 200 images were submitted to capture "What does your better planet look like?". We are pleased to announce the winners in the four categories:  

Food
Ron and Deborah Riddell (UofG/OAC Alumni)

Agriculture
Linda Slits (BSc.Agr student, Agricultural Economics)

Communities
Silvia Sarapura (PhD student, Rural Studies, SEDRD)

Environment
Yvonne Su (BAH student, International Development)

They were each awarded a $75 gift certificate from Future Shop, and their work will be featured in a variety of print- and web-based promotional materials for OAC.  

We would also like to extend thanks to Chris Earley (Arboretum) and Mike Peppard (Plant Agriculture) who offered their expertise in the judging process.
