Celebrate Sustainability Week

Discover the many ways people can contribute to sustainable communities during Sustainability Week 2009 at the University of Guelph, September 24-29, 2009.
This year's event, given the theme "Intertwined: Roots to Sustainable Communities", builds on the success of the inaugural 2008 Sustainability Day, winner of the Gordon Nixon Leadership Award.
The week features more than 20 cross-campus events that bring together diverse disciplines and occupations. These events celebrate, explore, and challenge perceptions of sustainability and emphasize a wide and inclusive definition of sustainability that extends beyond environmental protection to include the health and strength of our communities.
